Why is there a reddish or purplish tint to some of the images recorded by the DPB40?

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance

The DPB40 enhances night shooting by allowing the lens to absorb more infrared light.

This light passes through the lens filter and enters the DPB40, which may sometimes cause a reddish or purplish tint in images due to the sensor's sensitivity to these wavelengths.

This is a normal characteristic of the device.
